Axe lodged in forehead (graphic) - Maria Savez Case

Original source :

Comment: Rec’d in e-mail just wondered if it was true:

Bogota resident Emilo Savez was critically Wounded tonight
when his wife, in a fit of rage, attacked her husband with a
wood axe, lodging it in his forehead. The 36 year old father
of three was rushed to St.Vincent's hospital when his frantic
wife called police after swinging an axe into his face.

Apparently Maria Savez caught her estranged husband in bed
with the family housekeeper, and in a fit of rage ran to the garage
and got a wood axe, then proceeded back to their bedroom.
Once there a struggle ensued, and Mrs. Savez ended up on top
of her husband, then swung the Axe and impaled Mr. Savez
in his forehead. Shocked surgeons spent six hours removing and
repairing the damage from the axe, and surprisingly Mr. Savez
is expected to make a full recovery.

Minor brain damage to the front temporal lobes is expected, but
Mr. Savez is expected to be able to lead a normal life once his
wounds have healed.

Most Scary Glass Walkways in the World!

1. Glass walkway at China's Tianmen Mountain Park

How does the world look like from a height of 4,700 ft.? Take the high road to find out!
Walk the amazing and incredibly scary transparent glass pathway that runs alongside the Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China. The 200 ft. long walkway is a mere 3 feet wide and allows dizzying views of the valley and wilderness beneath.

2. Grand Canyon Skywalk

The Grand Canyon looks even better when you view it from the top, on a glass walkway! The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horse-show shaped bridge with one end anchored to the side of the canyon, and the other, extending out at an elevation of 500 ft. That's where you get to view the dizzying vertical drop from!

3. Cliffwalk, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver

Cliffwalk takes you high above the towering rainforests of Vancouver and gives you a sweeping view of its lush ecosystems. The Cliffwalk is one of the scariest attractions to the North Vancouver's Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Swooping 300 metres above the Capilano River, Cliffwalk is a series of narrow walkways interspersed with glass-bottomed platforms, bridges and stairs. It remains anchored to a cliff at just 16 points.

4. Mountain Dew Skybridge

The Mountain Dew Skybridge in Pigeon Fort stands at an elevation of over 400 ft., with glass at the end, and stunning views of the surrounding area. It's broad and not as scary as some of the other walkways - until you look down, that is.

5. Observation Deck at Willis Tower, Chicago

'The Edge', is a series of incredibly scary glass boxes that are attached to the Skydeck of The Willis Tower. You literally have the world, at your feet. An immediately exciting, as well as terrifying experience!
We ask you again, can you walk the talk?

Additional informations:

Tomislav Radovanic, a retired Math professor from central Serbia has built a house of waste plastic. "The house is comfortable and it practically cost me nothing," Radovanovic said, adding that the bottles are good insulators. The foundation is concrete but all else is plastic; gutters, windows and furniture are made from recycled bottles.
